Shoe Shanty Town
The aim of the brief was to take a world issue and promote it through a fairytale. The issue was overpopulation, particularly living standards and when there is nowhere for everyone to live, the poorest will end up in slums. The shoe shanty town expands on the children’s nursery rhyme ‘The Old Woman Who Lived in a Shoe’. The shoe town was build out of shoes, and photographed and then painted.
